The smile comes naturally in all children, it is therefore not learned by imitation. Born as a physiological reaction and then became an expression with communicative intent. In this sense the smile can be considered a typical behavior and distinctive of the human species towards other animal species. The smile is the basic human and also the basis of this report, in a situation of complete darkness as the disease of the young Daniele Committee Chianelli teach us with their own eyes what it means to life. There is no pain, there is awareness of the great hurdle but the game and the smile are slipped around as if it were a thing of every day. An experience of a year in contact with the small players in the Oncology department of Perugia, an experience that teaches more than many manuals and books… learn to smile… Always!
